So, progress.
I have just uploaded some screen shots of some of our output material.
As mentioned earlier in the blog postings we wanted to really echo Artstation’s creative mentality that art is life. This became the backbone for the ‘mantra’ eat art sleep. It also became the idea behind out aesthetic for the design - hand made. Taking everything back to hand done - as this is where creation...
Hi, Hello.
Since the workshop last Wednesday we haven’t posted anything because we have been really busy working on the changes we realised needed to happen.
The main thing that has changed is we are putting the video on hold/removing it from our brief. This is not because we wouldn’t have been able to complete it in time but we discussed it with Keren and Helen from The Common Room and felt...

INHOUSE
Yesterday I had made a meeting with Arch from Inhouse to talk about the logo design that they had done for Artstation a few years back. This was one of the considerations that we had initially outlined in our first video posting. I guess I felt that it was important to understand the direction they had chosen to take when they rebranded Artstation and if they had envisioned how other sub brands...

This week we have been polishing up some formal parts to our project. We have drafted a young arts committee position description, contract and schools contact info. Will be showing these tomorrow to Artstation for approval. Also working hard on the promotional poster that will accompany the email as a pdf to be printed out and the blog banner is nearly completed. We are hoping to have these...

Our Brief!
Ok so this may be a bit text heavy but thought that it would be worthwhile getting our refined brief up here too. What follows are the specifications we have created in order to make an achievable brief for the next 6 weeks with a broad picture of future plans in mind as well.
A brief background about our organisation:
Artstation is a community arts centre which provides a wide range of visual...
Our little video to introduce our brief for the challenge with Artstation. We had a really great week with meetings with Vicky and skype chats with Louise and we really managed to refine our brief into a plausible and exciting project.. More details on this soon.
Enjoy our video !

Are we in charge of our decisions? →
Think Bank.
Was watching a few TED talks this morning and this video was really interesting. Looks at the psychology of decision making. At the moment we are still formulating our brief so specific research hasn’t really begun but thought that this was worth documenting as a reminder of the psychology behind the power of persuasion and decision making..
Ponder ponder..!!
Hello and welcome.
And so it begins..!
Had a really great night the other evening at the team reveal. Rolen is away in South Africa so it was just Plum and myself who were able to make it. As team 1 we have been put with Artstation on Ponsonby Road http://www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/whatson/arts/artstation/default.asp, Louise Wagner as our contact person from there and Vicky Teinaki who works directly across the road....
